Octa Pass in Arabic, right to left

Every screen in the web vault, the browser extension, the desktop app and the iPhone and Android apps is now in Arabic as well as English. It’s written in plain Modern Standard Arabic, the way good Arabic apps speak, with product names like Octa Pass and Touch ID left as they are.

  • Your language, automatically. Octa Pass follows your system or browser language. To choose, go to Settings → Appearance → Language: System, English or العربية. The choice is per device and isn’t stored in your vault.
  • Right to left. In Arabic the layout is mirrored: the sidebar sits on the right, and back arrows and chevrons point the other way.
  • Data stays readable. Passwords, one-time codes, your Secret Key, email and web addresses, and card numbers always read left to right. Titles and notes keep the direction you wrote them in.
  • Proper plurals and numbers. Counts use all of Arabic’s plural forms (يوم واحد، يومان، 3 أيام، 11 يومًا), with the same 0–9 digits as your passwords.
  • A bundled Arabic font. Arabic text uses Noto Sans Arabic, shipped with the apps. Nothing is fetched from a font service.

The website and docs are still in English. See languages for the details, and how to help improve the translation.
